Cambridge Shelter Corporation operates a 40 bed year round emergency shelter for men and women aged 16 years of age and over.  There are also 3 family shelter units for homeless families.  There is no criteria for admittance beyond being homeless.  Clients of the shelter are expected to act respectfully and to sign the Client Code of Conduct.

Families are connected with a wide variety of services through our Family Caseworker.  She also enrolls children in school, and immediately begins searching for appropriate, affordable housing.  Average length of stay for families in the emergency shelter units is three months.  While staying at the shelter, a variety of programming is available to them.
