BridgeCare is Moving to 160 Hespeler Road

We are excited to let you know that Cambridge Shelter Corp will be moving the BridgeCare program to 160 Hespeler Road starting in December 2025. The property was acquired in September and renovations are currently underway.

If you would like to find out more, please register for an online community information session on Tuesday, December 9, starting at 7pm. You can click on the link below and an event link will be sent to you.

We are also planning in-person tours of the new BridgeCare home once the renovations are done. If you use the registration link below we can also let you know when the tours will happen. Tour participants must register in advance so that we can arrange tour leaders and refreshments and to keep the tour groups manageable.

BridgeCare is a small-scale medical shelter, providing specialty medical services and housing support for up to 20 unhoused adults who are referred by area hospitals or health care providers. Our clients are typically preparing for or recovering from surgery or specialized medical services. They are transitioning from homelessness to a permanent home. This service is being relocated to 160 Hespeler Rd from 651 Concession Road as the current location is being repurposed by the Region of Waterloo.

Our BridgeCare program has operated successfully on Concession Road for almost four years with support from area businesses, residents and neighbouring Coronation Public School. We are excited about our new location on Hespeler Road and trust that the community will be supportive and welcoming.
